Clients are offered a wide range of services starting with the basics: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care documents and escalating to more advanced planning services such as irrevocable life insurance trusts, business succession planning, incorporation, charitable trusts, special needs trusts and probate and trust administration.

After
receiving her post-doctoral degree from the University of Florida
in Taxation, Heather Flanagan established her private practice
in Gainesville, Florida. Ms. Flanagan provides a wide spectrum
of estate planning services including wills, trusts, probate,
powers of attorney, health care directives, business succession
planning, corporate formation, long-term care planning, asset
protection planning and tax planning, all in a comfortable and
private setting. Ms. Flanagan likes to take the time to get to
know her clients and their unique needs and explain complicated
legal issues in a readily understandable format. Her commitment
to her clients continues by updating them when there are changes
in the law that may affect them and keeping a free phone call
policy for all clients.
Ms. Flanagan received her undergraduate degree
with distinction on academic scholarship from the University
of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1989 and her Masters degree from the
University of California Los Angeles. She earned her law degree
(J.D.) on full scholarship in 1995 from Creighton University
School of Law, cum laude. After ten years of practice, Ms. Flanagan
returned to school and earned a Masters of Law in Taxation (LLM)
from the University of Florida as a graduate tax scholar. She
is married and the mother of two daughters.
Ms. Flanagan is bar certified in Nebraska,
Arizona, California and Florida and has practiced estate planning
in each of those states over the last eleven years. She is a certified Family Mediator in Florida. She also
received her Certified Specialist in Planned Giving certificate
from the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies at California
State University, Long Beach. She is a board member for the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida and is on the Advisor's Council for the Gainesville Community Foundation. Ms. Flanagan has dedicated her
career to helping families secure their assets and plan their
affairs so that they may be informed and have the peace of mind
to know that they have taken care of their loved ones.
